During the past week me and my class have been working on this environment project and yea I finally finished it.
Resources
Resources are things such as soil, sand, water and many more material things.
Environment
The environment is everything that surrounds us such as the sun, the air, the trees, the water, everything that's a part of nature is a part of the environment. There are lots of problems with our environment such as our ozone layer disappearing, global warming, pollution and many more environmental issues.
Sustainability
Sustainability is like something that is stable and still benefits the environment by providing natural resources that help any living thing to survive.
Why are you choosing this particular resource?
I feel like people don’t show appreciation to water as we should. All we do is waste it. Water is the most vital resource us humans need to survive. Water is such an important resource because without it we wouldn’t be able to live. Water benefits every living thing and it also provides us with food in the ocean.
What is the current management of this resource like? Monitoring the current behaviours (e.g. how much waste does it create in a day/week/month?)
Water helps us in many ways but us humans are polluting the waterways and the water carries all the waste and rubbish all through the ocean so it pollutes the earth, there are also lots of oil spills, dumping industrial waste and mines and manufacturing plants that pollute the environment.
How are you planning to manage this particular resource more effectively?
In order to improve with helping the waterways get clean, people should put more thought into what they are doing with their waste instead of dumping everything into the ocean. There is a solution to decrease the amount of waste in the ocean by reducing, reusing and recycling.
